Kitchen Cabinets

The kitchen is divided in two areas, one to work and the other one for family meals. Giant windows bring outdoors to the space and the design is modern, I’d say minimalist. The views of the fresh summer garden are amazing. The island in the middle is a comfortable space to work and has been designed with a bridge in the middle to add a couple of stools. The storage is smart and so are appliances: wall cabinets from the floor to the ceiling take the whole wall, and the appliances are built-in. White and light natural wood create a light and relaxing atmosphere.

This is the kitchen made in yellow and white colors, which are in perfect harmony. These colors could give bright and at the same time delicate look to your kitchen design. You also could enrich your interior by some black elements. Such contrasting items could make the kitchen more stylish and trendy. Presents itself as a very functional and ergonomic furniture, which stands out by the amazing design and the excellent quality. Its island can be located as close to a wall as in the center of a room. In the second variant it can be used as a room divider and allows to organize several zones in the one rooms.

Marble and wood are natural materials that are beautiful without any decorations – just because of their textures. This kitchen is made of these two materials and it’s so luxurious though natural-looking. Pure lines and the combination of materials create an impressive kitchen with sculptural touches. The kitchen island combines marble and wood, the marble covers the part around the sink as water could be ruinous for wood. The rest of the furniture is made of dark wood, and there are lots of spaces for storage made in the same luxurious manner. Those for storing glass have LED lights to accentuate the pieces.

The kitchen has been divided in three different areas, each of them almost symmetrical. In the cook area, white cabinetry, stain-steel bench-top and appliances and a beautiful tiled splash-back create a clean and shinny working space in white and grey. In the center of the kitchen, an island combines a stone bench-top with wood cabinetry to add warmth to this space. The island also has a small breakfast area with stools. One of its most beautiful features is the skylights on the ceiling. There are no windows on the walls but the space is still full of natural light. A mirror wall has also been placed to add contrast and create a beautiful balanced composition.

This kitchen and dining room were remodelled by Jessica Helgerson in this old Victorian home in Portland, making a larger, brighter kitchen by using part of a sun porch. Here everything is very stylish: furniture, kitchen appliances and even the dishes are according to the style chosen. I especially like the walls covered with brick, brass lamps and the yellow sofa that looks like it was taken right from that epoch. It is absolutely beautiful, and so conducive to having large family gatherings where everyone congregates in the kitchen.

It’s beautiful against the marble counter and backsplash, and to make this kitchen extra special, a faucet with a beautiful custom brass finish and existing cabinet pulls were electroplated to match. I like the wine rack – it’s space-saving and so comfortable in using! And what do you think about vintage chairs with velvet? Aren’t they gorgeous?
