It also has drawers on both sides (2) to tuck away those items that girls use all the time. The wood is a walnut vineer that is warm brown in color. Item Description: This is a beautiful French style mahogany and walnut Bombay commode. It has a beautiful shaped and removable marble top surface with a traditional beveled edge. The chest is richly adorned with fancy ormolu mounts on its corners, skirt and feet, and it has beautiful crossbanded surfaces with distinguished floral marquetry designs on its front and sides. It features 2 shaped drawers with dovetail joinery that have very attractive foliage ormolu handles. This is an outstanding piece of furniture that will be cherished at home for many years to come!
